What is Portable? Portable means that this is a smaller version, with the same features and everything, that is so small that can fit your USB stick.
Portable also means that all you have to do is to extract the folder, and NO INSTALLATION NEEDED! after you extract you can start using it. which means NO KEY / ACTIVATION OR CRACK NEEDED! It Is So Simple!

Extract (with a PortableApps folder at the device’s root) and run PhotoshopPortable.
If you downloaded previsous version, replace launcher to fix erasing Quick Launch, Address Book… in AppData\Microsoft.

If you drag’n drop a file on (or open with) PhotoshopPortable: it will be opened in Photoshop.
Settings of installed Photoshop should be preserved but not sure for registration.

If you have an other language of Photoshop CS4 installed, please upload the content of:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Locales
(copy in PhotoshopPortable\App\Photoshop\Locales)

Where do i put plugins that i’ve downloaded for it?
It is great, but since it isn’t integrated you can’t save pictures onto your computer. You can, however, save pictures through a flash drive and copy them onto your computer.
these are portable editions so it crams in all the important stuff leaving out all the unessential dll crap
I’m new to portables – how can it be the full version yet only take up 60 or so MB instead of the 600 or so it normally takes?? I’m confused…
yes, you can use actions, brushes, textures and other stuff with it, it’s compatible with everything.
