I started some days ago a pretty important design project, a photography-based website. I was searching some stock images and i find a really useful service that i recommend to my readers. Now, all the web design resources are often cheap, but they really add up to the final price to your client: stock photography, some fonts, website templates or themes, vector art or some stock videos; before you know it your assets for a project have taken a fairly hefty bite out of your profit margin.

Lootback is a service that helps designers speed up the search, and then rewards you with money when you make a purchase.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could reduce some of that cost of the design resources? Well, Lootback.com could be the answer.  Lootback is a very good service that offers cashback on purchases you make from some of the biggest names in the stock industry: iStock; Shutterstock; all of Envato’s marketplaces (Graphicriver, Themeforest, Videohive); DepositPhotos and Thinkstock. These are the services that most of the designers use, so getting our own cash would be excellent for the currently design project.  We could apply that money toward more stock photography or pass the savings on to clients, it’s up to you! Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Sign Up

The first step is to “Sign up”, wich is actually quicker than most forms, just provide a username, Paypal email address, and password and you’re good.

Step 2: Search for Images

Here’s the result page, we really like that we can view the result from all the stock services at  a glance, instead of going to each photo site, you complete your photo search at Lootback and the site returns results from each vendor. Pretty sweet!

Step 3: Select an Image

When you select an image, you’re presented with a popup image telling you how much of the image purchase will be given back to you:

This also allows you to shop around to see what image you’ll get the best return out of.

Now you’re all set. Within 12 hours, 8% of what you spent comes back to you in the Cash Back Earnings section, which you should be able to cash out with Paypal in 7 to 90 days (the stock photo agency has a major say in this). As you can see, it’s a very simple process which saves you plenty of time, not to mention money, when you’re looking for a stock image to use in your project.

Conclusion

This service is intuitive and easy to understand. If you want to be smart and efficient with money when it comes to stock photography, use Lootback and get the most for you. More money back to you is good, so try it out and reap the rewards. Go with Lootback and you won’t regret that you have!

Have you tried Lootback yet? We surely recommend it! How much did you save? Let us know in the comments.
